Welcome to the newly updated Vertical Dance Instructors
Qualification. The Course has been running for over three
years and has been recently been improved and updated. 100's
of instructors across the world have been qualified over the
years and proudly place the Vertical dance seal of approval
on their websites.
Remember if you can not get to us there is also the online
course.
Prerequisite
You will need an OCR or a CYQ in either
exercise to music or Studio Instructor qualification, how
ever you can come on to the Vertical Dance course with out
this as long as you are either working towards the
qualification or signing up to a course. You will not
receive your Vertical Dance Certificate until we have seen
proof you have passed the above courses.
Please be advised that the home study work books must be
completed and handed in on the first day of the course.

If you would like to sign up for the intermediate course you
must have either completed the beginner course or have sign
up to the beginner course. As above you will not receive
your certificate until you have passed the beginner course.
You do not have to have any previous pole dance experience,
however you will be expected to learn the moves prior to
coming on the course, these will be DVD that accompanies the
course and you will need the use of a pole to practice on.
Course structure
You receive your DVD, Instructor Manual and Work book at
time of booking or six week before the course commences. You
will need to complete the workbook and practice the moves in
time for the first day of the course.
The course runs over three days, a Saturday and Sunday, then
there is approximately one month study gap then the final
assessment day is
on a Saturday. The three day course is a combination of
written and practical work that includes:
Pole Health and Safety
Warm up and Cool down using a Pole
Principles and Technique of Vertical Dance
Dance Moves
Techniques of Instructing a Vertical Dance class
Designing a class
Travel & Accommodation
Rail
From London take the over ground train to Broxbourne
Station. Its a five minuet taxi ride from there
Car
Take junction 25 off the M25 and follow the signs on the A10
to Hoddesdon
